And have I ever mentioned some of the presets and actions that I use on my pics?  Well, they're from PinkInkStudios.com and they have tons of cool color actions and textures.......and well.......just lots of neat stuff!  I really recommend going on over and taking a peak at all of the wonderful stuff that they have in the store.....you won't be disappointed!!!

Almost there.....

Well, my paperwork will be sent to the State of Vermont tomorrow and once I get a few minor things done I'll be good to go!  I'd like to have everything done by the end of next week so I can start advertising and bringing in some new business which is sooooo exciting!  I'll be running a few specials so be on the lookout for those.  In the meantime, here's a shot of my little cutie in a prop that I discovered in our house.......

There are SOOOOOO many little things needed to start your own business!!!! The least of which is make this whole thing official! I've been busy working on my contracts and my pricing (which is up on the website now!) and I'd like to get those finished by the end of the week. Then within the next two weeks I need to see an accountant to get everything financial figured out! It's such an exciting time for me right now and I feel so blessed to have this opportunity. So I'll remind everyone again, if you're one of my first 10 customers I'll waive my session fee........can't beat that!!! Here is a little peak at my Lillian, my favorite subject of course......

Busy, Busy, Busy......

Lets just say that things have been hectic around here!!! Between getting ready for Christmas, buying a new car and getting the little things ready for the photo business I haven't had much time to take any photos! I was able to snap a few of Lillian for her Christmas pics, but she was rather unhappy and unwilling to sit in the same place for more than 5 seconds. We might try again on Sunday with the muslin backdrop and the extra large ornaments that I picked up as props. Other than that I'm going to work on my price list and my contracts next week.

I've decided to hold off until after Christmas to see an accountant and lawyer to make sure that I'm doing everything properly. Thankfully setting up my website has been extremely easy and I've been doing it at night after Lillian and Dan go to bed so I don't have any distractions! So once the new year comes and I see everyone I need too and fill out all of the proper paperwork, I'll begin advertising.
